Shirts with Funk: star wars

Hey guys! I'm back with another Shirts With Funk, and this one is Sasha's star wars tee. I mean, star wars is like, air is to earth life.
I'm not sure where she got it from, but it's either hot topic, the comic store, or a com con.

Shirts With Funk: pb&j every day

This is a picture of my friend Hunters quirky shirt. It's cute, funny, but with a little edge.
The shirt is the window to the soul. Eyes can be just as deceiving.

Project: Paint Strip Wall Art

Update! I finished my wall art today! Yay me! It took a lot of snipping, gluing, and adjusting. But it was all worth it and it turned out pretty good. I taped it into a really old frame. I had to tape it because the cardboard support of the frame was falling out, so I ripped it out and decided to tape it.
Any questions or comments? Feel free!

Art Project: Paint Strip Wall art

Good day my lovely readers! If I even have any yet!
Last week Wednesday I found this awesome idea on my favorite blog; A Beautiful Mess, by Elsie Larson with contributions by her friends (check out her blog it's amazing!).
So lo and behold, me and my best friend Esther we're taking a little trip down to Ace hardware to hijack the paint strip wall. And boy, did we get a lot.
We left with a book of pain strips, after debating them in australian and new Zealand accents. We ran out the door when one of the store employees asked if we needed help.
Well, we got our paint strips.
By the end of the day I plan to have colorful wall art to display in my room!

Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin

This is a review on Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin facial cleanser. I bought this at wal-mart for about $10.
The pictures below are of the cleanser. It's got red packaging with a little tomato on them.
This product is made with natural ingredients and cruelty free. I believe it's vegan but I'm not sure. It has the antioxidant lycopene in it, as well as the good stuff from a watermelon.
Inside the tube is a clear, lightly fragranced gel. It doesn't smell like tomatoes, but has a very subtle veggie tinge under the fragrance. So if you don't like fragranced products, this isn't for you.
It seems like its doing nothing when you first use it. It's very gentle, and the gel has an almost water like quality.
This is perfect for people of any skin type. A little acne story: over the past few weeks my skin has been breaking out like crazy. I had three of those deep set zits; and on my nose too. I knew that my face had gotten use to my Clear Skin Morming Burst cleanser, and needed a new one that wouldn't rip the oil from my face, but get most of it. Within a day my skin felt calmed, my acne getting smaller.
This is perfect for combination, oily, and maybe dry skin as well, depending. If your dry with acne and you need something gentle, this is it.

Book worm shirt, to be or not to be?

Since this is a new blog I decide to add some pizazz; just a dash of something I though y'all would find interesting.
I looked around my local campus and saw a funky, hip student body. Particularly, I noticed the many colorful graphic shirts. I asked the humanoids I came in contact with (mostly my friends; some aren't. I'm going to get a reputation; I can tell) if I could take pictures of their cool shirts.
This shirt belongs to my friend Camilla. She bought it online at Threadless. You can order your own! Her sister bought it for her, and she says it was about $10-15.
Each of the little books on her shirt is a story. I tried to name them all. There's "Treasure Island", "The Little Mermaid", "Dracula", "Alice in Wonderland", "Where the Wild ThingsAre", and "Little Red Riding hood". It's just the princess and the smile with the loos on the face that I don't know. How many can you relate with this shirt?

Yes To Tomatoes, CoverGirl Lashblast Fusion, Maybelline Bouncy Blush

Hello world! Je m'appelle Carol! My full name is actually Caroline, but I don't like using my whole name.

I just went to Wally World today, and I picked up three products from the makeup isle that I've been wanting to try (I stalk products on the internet. I just make lists and lists of makeup that I want to add to my amounting makeup collection).

I got a Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin facial wash, a Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara, and the New Maybelline Bouncy Blush. The blush was $6.68, the Lashblast about $7.68, and the Yes to Tomatoes around $9-10. Sorry guys. Threw away the receipt.

Anyway, the reviews for this will be coming up soon!
